About Dana

Dana is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, dancer turned yoga & fitness instructor, and health coach. She has been a practicing Dietitian since 2007 and has worked in various health settings. Her most recent career move has been seeing clients through her own local private practice and teaching Barre3 and yoga classes. She has endured her own journey of disordered eating & exercise, stress, burn out, gut issues, and imbalanced hormones. Learning to focus on body attunement and nourishment-based eating led to improved mental and physical health, enhancing her passion for helping others do the same. She lives on the beautiful and humid Gulf Coast with her husband, 2 boys, and 3 dogs.

Approach to care

Dana is passionate about helping others truly care for themselves from the inside out. She uses a "whole health" approach, looking at all factors possibly affecting nutrition behaviors and health. This may include exercise habits, stress, sleep, and ingrained health beliefs in addition to nutrition. She meets clients where they are and strives to be a strong source of support on their health journeys. She uses an intuitive approach to nutrition, using both inner wisdom of how our bodies are made, and outer wisdom of how food affects our health. She helps her clients move away from restrictive diets and work towards a peaceful, compassionate relationship with food, movement, and wellness.

Your first session with Dana

The first session is a chance to get to know one other and your particular goals for meeting together. This is where you have a safe, non-judgmental, and laid back space to freely share where you are coming from, what your current health habits look like, what your struggles are, and where you would like to be on your individual health journey. Together, we will set practical, short-term goals together based on your long-term goals for your health and wellness journey.
