About Daniel

Hi, my name is Daniel, and I’m a registered dietitian specializing in weight management. I help people make real, lasting changes without extreme diets or unsustainable rules. My approach is practical, straightforward, and built around creating a healthier lifestyle that fits your life. I also have a personal passion for fitness and bodybuilding, so I understand how nutrition impacts the way you look, feel, and perform. I enjoy helping clients apply these principles to their goals—whether weight loss, improving body composition, or just feeling better day to day. Outside work, I stay active in the gym, outdoors, or in the kitchen creating simple, flavorful meals. I spend time with my daughter, who reminds me why balance matters. My goal is to help people feel comfortable in their own skin, confident in their choices, and proud of the progress they make. Health doesn’t have to be overwhelming—I guide clients toward strategies that truly last.

Approach to care

When it comes to weight loss, I keep things simple, realistic, and sustainable. There’s no cookie-cutter plan here—I won’t hand you a rigid list of foods. I’ll guide you in choosing foods you enjoy and building balanced meals that fit your lifestyle. You’re in control of your “energy budget,” and I’m here to help you spend it wisely. I use the plate method to teach balance and, with the right clients, set daily nutrition targets. My most successful clients track intake through an app, letting me provide real-time suggestions. I don’t believe in total overhauls—small tweaks usually drive the biggest results. Weight loss is simple, but not easy. It takes planning, preparation, and consistency. I provide guidance and accountability—you do the work. Think of me as your sherpa: I guide, support, and push when needed, but this is your journey. P.S. Dust off those walking shoes—you’re gonna need ’em.

Your first session with Daniel

During our first session, my goal is simple: understand where you’re at and what’s realistic. We’ll review medical diagnoses, medications, mobility or limitations, weight and dieting history, current activity, and eating habits. We’ll walk through a typical day of eating, your food preferences, and any allergies. I’ll teach the plate method so you can see what balanced eating looks like and how it supports weight loss. From there, we’ll outline a plan of attack that fits your life—no cookie-cutter rules. We’ll also decide whether tracking intake via an app is right for you. I meet you where you’re at; we only commit to a feasible level. Don’t be intimidated—sometimes baby steps are best. We’ll stack small wins, stay accountable, and keep moving forward so you leave day one with clear next steps.
