About Daniel
Hi, my name is Daniel. I graduated with a Masters in Nutrition Science and obtained my RD certification in 2020. I have worked in a clinical/outpatient setting for 3 years and provided nutrition intervention for patients with chronic diseases and health conditions. This includes pre-diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, and overweight/obesity.
Approach to care
As a dietitian, I will use the SMART goal and motivational interviewing to develop an individualized nutrition plan for each of my clients. Furthermore, I will emphasize the importance of taking small steps in order to achieve and maintain a healthy lifestyle.
Your first session with Daniel
In our first session, I will be asking for your food and nutrition history, gastric issues, past medical history, family medical history, any recent weight changes, food allergies and any newly diagnosed health conditions/diseases. This allows me to have a better understanding of your daily lifestyle/activities and together we can implement a nutrition plan that is suitable for you to start following.
