About Daniela
Hi! I'm a registered dietitian with a passion for helping people find peace and balance with food. I've worked as a travel dietitian in a variety of settings such as hospitals, long-term care facilities, and behavioral health settings, as well as in a residential treatment center supporting those in recovery from mental health and eating disorders. My goal is to help you build a healthy relationship with food that feels, flexible, nourishing, and freeing, so you can focus on living your life, not stressing about what's on your plate.
Approach to care
I take a compassionate, non-judgmental approach rooted in intuitive eating and weight-inclusive philosophy. I believe that food should support both your physical and emotional well-being, and that progress looks different for everyone. Together, we'll focus on small, sustainable steps that honor your body's needs and help you feel confident and at ease around food.
Your first session with Daniela
Our first session is a chance for us to get to know each other, as well as to begin exploring your relationship with food. We'll talk about your thoughts and feelings around eating, your typical day of meals and snacks, and any relevant medical history or goals you'd like to share. If you've worked with a dietitian before, we'll also explore what was or wasn't helpful about that experience. Most importantly, this time is for you - to share your story, ask questions, and start building a supportive plan that feels realistic and personal to you.
