About Danielle

Hi! I'm Danielle and I've been a dietitian for 7 years. Currently I'm the dietitian for an in-patient eating disorder facility where I provide 1-1 individualized care. Formerly, I spent two years supporting the military and their families with sports nutrition, weight management, and overall health education. Additionally, I've worked with outpatient clients focused on weight management. I truly love what I do and I find fulfillment in helping my clients meet their nutrition goals. Outside of work I enjoy spending time with my fiancee, fur babies and plants. I also enjoy cooking and being by or on the water. People would describe me as bubbly, easy-going, compassionate and a good listener.

Approach to care

My approach is grounded in principles of Health at Every Size and a non-diet approach. I believe in promoting health without focusing solely on weight/size, instead prioritizing behaviors and attitudes that support overall health. Compassion and empathy are at the forefront of my practice as I recognize each person's relationship with food/their body is different. My recommendations are evidence-based, while also considering the individual's background, lifestyle, and preferences to create individualized care plans. Additionally, I provide ongoing support to my clients as they navigate their journey, empowering them to make positive choices that align with their goals and values.

Your first session with Danielle

In your first session, expect a thorough discussion covering your medical history, current health concerns, and dietary habits. We'll delve into your goals, whether it's managing a specific condition or improving overall well-being. Understanding your dietary history is crucial for tailoring a personalized plan. Together, we'll set realistic goals and establish a roadmap towards achieving them, ensuring it aligns with your lifestyle and preferences. By the end, you'll have clarity on the path forward and feel empowered to make positive changes.
