About Danielle
Hi there! I'm Danielle, a registered dietitian with 7 years of experience. Currently, I work at as the dietitian at a dialysis clinic. Prior to this, I worked at a bariatric clinic that specializes in both anti-obesity medication and bariatric surgery. I have also worked at an inpatient eating disorder clinic where I provided personalized meal plans and one-on-one nutrition counseling. In addition, I spent two years supporting military personnel and their families with sports nutrition, weight management, and overall health education. I am passionate about what I do, and I truly find fulfillment in helping my clients succeed in their nutrition journeys. Outside of work, I love spending time with my fiancΓ©e, our fur babies, and my plants. I also enjoy cooking and spending time near or on the water. People often describe me as bubbly, easy-going, compassionate, and a good listener.
Approach to care
I believe in promoting health without focusing solely on weight/size, instead prioritizing behaviors and attitudes that support overall health. Compassion and empathy are at the forefront of my practice as I recognize each person's relationship with food/their body is different. My recommendations are evidence-based, while also considering the individual's background, lifestyle, and preferences to create individualized care plans. Additionally, I provide ongoing support to my clients as they navigate their journey, empowering them to make positive choices that align with their goals and values.
