About Danielle
Hello! My name is Danielle and I am so excited you are here! I started out my career in nutrition at WIC and Head Start helping pregnant women and their young families achieve their goals and support their access to healthy food. I then switched gears a bit and moved on to working with patients pursuing weight loss surgery. I love nutrition and believe that a healthy relationship with food and balance will help you achieve your goals. As a mom of a very active toddler, I understand how difficult it can be to plan meals and eat a balanced diet. I would love to show you simple ways to make your and your family’s lives easier when it comes to eating.
Approach to care
I like to take my time to get to know someone, not just about their diet or exercise habits. I believe that the best way for me to help you is to know who you are. I use evidence based guidelines to help you develop simple and sustainable goals that you will be able to continue even after our time together is through.
Your first session with Danielle
You can expect to have a relaxed, conversation-based, first session. I will ask you some baseline questions about your health and your lifestyle as well as what your long term goals are. As we move along, I will think of different pathways we can take toward those goals and help you decide which direction you want to take.
