About Danielle
Hi there! Are you ready for a healthier version of you? If so, I am Danielle "Dee" Milman and I am a licensed and registered dietitian/nutritionist. I received a B.S. in Nutritional Science at California Polytechnic University of San Luis Obispo, and then completed my Dietetic Internship through Bowling Green State University. As a dietitian I am passionate about counseling patients through empathy, positivity, motivational interviewing skills, goal setting and education. I am proud to be part of Nourish and I look forward to helping you become a healthier you!
Approach to care
I approach nutrition with a positive energy and a tailor-made style while considering clean eating and practical goal setting as key. I embrace the client as a whole and consider food and nutrition to be a valuable piece of one's dynamic and unique life.
Your first session with Danielle
In an initial session I seek to learn as much as I can about a client's daily life, relationship with food, habits and goals. I like to have the client lead the session with my focus being on the client feeling heard and understood. This includes an overall health history, 24-hour dietary recall, lifestyle habits, schedule, relationship to food, challenges to healthy eating approaches from the past and realistic goal setting.
