Approach to care

My approach to care is all about working together in a way that feels genuine for each person. I focus on a weight-neutral perspective, believe that all foods can fit, and love to make food fun. I like to get creative in helping you to overcome barrier through utilizing a variety of resources and tools to help figure out solutions that resonate with you. I also believe in teamwork, so when needed, I'll connect with other providers to make sure we have the best plan in place for you.

Your first session with Danielle

In your first session, we'll take time to understand your complete health picture, exploring your medical history, food and nutrition habits, and lifestyle. Expect a comfortable, conversational session where you can share openly about any challenges, questions, or goals you have around nutrition, judgement-free! Sometimes, this will take most of the first session. If you're feeling ready to jump in, we'll brainstorm on potential behavior-based changes, review relevant nutrition information tidbits, and create a realistic plan so that you feel supported in taking the first step towards your short and long term goals.
