About Dannia

I grew up in South Florida, surrounded by the vibrant flavors and rich diversity of Caribbean, South, and Central American cuisines. I am bilingual, speaking English and Spanish! Being immersed in such a dynamic food scene sparked my love of food and my appreciation for how culture shapes our plates. Six years ago, I moved to Los Angeles, where I’ve traded the beaches for hiking trails—though I still consider myself a hiking novice. I believe there’s no one-size-fits-all food model. My role is to help you discover what works best for your unique life and body. Together, we’ll find your sweet spot for enjoying all foods while nourishing yourself in every sense of the word.

Approach to care

I help clients transform their relationship with food through evidence-based, compassionate nutrition care. My approach focuses on small, sustainable lifestyle changes that create meaningful, long-term results—without restriction or rigid rules. Each plan is personalized, practical, and designed to fit real life. Using a research-informed intuitive eating framework, I support clients in rebuilding trust with their bodies, listening to internal cues, and making food choices with confidence and ease. I bring experience working with disordered eating, gastrointestinal conditions such as IBS and Crohn’s, and complex conditions including Ehlers-Danlos syndrome and MCAS. I also work with athletes to fuel performance, enhance recovery, and support overall health. For clients seeking weight-related goals, I offer a food freedom approach that prioritizes sustainable behaviors, metabolic health, and a positive relationship with food—so progress feels empowering and lasting.

Your first session with Dannia

Your first session is all about getting to know you. We’ll take time to understand your health history, relationship with food, lifestyle, and goals—without judgment or pressure to change everything at once. This is a collaborative conversation where you can share what’s worked, what hasn’t, and what you’re hoping for moving forward. Together, we’ll explore your current eating patterns, body cues, and any concerns related to digestion, energy, performance, or food stress. Using evidence-based nutrition guidance, I’ll help you begin identifying small, realistic shifts that feel supportive and sustainable. You’ll leave with clear next steps, personalized insights, and a plan that aligns with your values and daily life—not a one-size-fits-all meal plan. Most importantly, this session sets the foundation for building trust with your body and developing a healthier, more confident relationship with food over time.
