About David
David brings his characteristic exuberance and compassion to Nourish, lending to a relaxed and calming atmosphere during counseling. He has an innate ability to empower people, and through his expertise and diligent care he leaves patients feeling confident in their pursuit of bringing balance to their nutrition. Prior to entering the field of nutrition, David coupled his background in exercise science and work as a personal trainer with the very nutritional concepts he promotes today. He was also fortunate to do the same during his time in the US Army. Service to others is a foundational stone in his life, and he stands ready to help embolden you to become the best version of yourself.
Approach to care
David learned early on that the best approach to working with patients is to listen to them. By listening, a professional can help address wants and needs. David believes strongly in establishing a non-judgmental atmosphere where compassion, empathy, and patience are imbued into each session. Nutrition is more than food and eating, it encompasses psychology and emotion, financial status, religion, ethnic and cultural concepts, and other complex factors that can lend to stress and anxiety with one's nutrition pattern. David recognizes this and ensures that his approach soothes, steadies, and allows the blossoming of confidence in the way his patients view their nutritional health.
Your first session with David
During our initial session, we will create a robust dynamic focused around listening to your health needs and desires, allowing for a patient-focused approach to managing your nutritional health. A holistic process promotes greater success, and a complex review of your medical and health background will help me understand the full picture of your health. I will be able to help you identify areas of focus and improvement, allowing for the subsequent creation of strong, actionable goals to help you feel good about your adoption of new nutrition habits. Balance is key, and together - as a team - we will create a plan that allows you to develop a good relationship with food.
