I am a Registered Dietitian and Sports Nutritionist with 25 years of experience. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Human Sciences from the University of Rhode Island and obtained my Master of Science degree in Nutritional Sciences from UMASS Amherst. I have worked in a variety of settings including hospitals, outpatient health clinics, collegiate athletics, college health, health & fitness clubs and corporations. My specialties include health promotion, weight management, sports nutrition, gastrointestinal disorders, functional nutrition, therapeutic diets and eating disorders. I previously worked as the Sports Performance Dietitian for George Mason University for 10 seasons servicing 500 Division I collegiate athletes on 22 sports teams. I enjoy working with children, teens and adults. In my free time, I enjoy practicing and teaching yoga and Pilates as well as playing tennis and pickle ball with my family and friends.
Approach to care
I love helping individuals implement therapeutic lifestyle changes in order to look, feel and perform their very best. I practice patient driven health care and believe that small and consistent changes lead to positive outcomes. I provide evidence based medical nutrition therapy with a functional medicine approach to help you optimize your health.
