About Deanne
I was born and raised in Virginia and lived there most of my adult life but recently relocated to The Outer Banks of North Carolina, which I'm loving. I started my career in long term care and acute care before transitioning into the outpatient oncology setting. I learned so much working with my oncology patients and really miss them. I love working with clients that want to make a change and I'm passionate in finding a way to help them reach their goals! I love helping people feel better through nutrition, both physically and mentally!
Approach to care
Most all of my clients have described me as caring and compassionate, and that's probably what I strive for every day. I think deep down, most people just want someone to show they care about them. I like to work together with each client to develop short term and long-term goals and then develop small steps to help them reach those goals. Nutrition is not a one-size-fits-all practice, so we will work together to find out what works best for you.
Your first session with Deanne
We will spend a lot of time just getting to know each other, but don't be nervous! I've been on the client side before, so I know how you feel. We will talk a bit about your history, what brought you to Nourish and what your goals might be. Then we'll start to form a plan, together!
