About Deanne

Registered Dietitian | Bariatric Nutrition & Surgical Weight Management Hi, I’m Deanne Lynch, a Registered Dietitian specializing in bariatric nutrition and surgical weight management. I support individuals before and after weight loss surgery, helping them prepare for surgery, navigate recovery, and build sustainable nutrition habits that support long-term success. I’m especially passionate about working with pre- and post-bariatric patients who want clear, realistic guidance through each phase of their surgical journey. I also work with a limited number of non-surgical clients seeking sustainable weight loss and improved energy, though my experience and focus are rooted in bariatric care. My path to dietetics reflects a lifelong connection to food and health. Time in the Marine Corps shaped my discipline and resilience, and culinary training strengthened my belief that healthy food should be both practical and enjoyable. Approach to care

I use a Whole Health Approach that looks beyond calories and meal plans to address the full picture of well-being—especially the unique nutritional, behavioral, and lifestyle challenges that come with bariatric surgery. I take an encouraging, straightforward, and practical approach to care, focusing on small, realistic goals that support long-term progress rather than short-term fixes. Together, we’ll target key areas such as nutrition, sleep, stress, and physical activity to improve overall health and metabolic outcomes. My goal is to help you make informed choices and feel confident maintaining those changes for life—with specialized support through every phase of the bariatric journey.

Your first session with Deanne

Your first session lasts about 60 minutes and focuses on understanding your story, goals, and daily habits. We’ll review your medical history, nutrition patterns, and lifestyle factors like sleep, stress, and activity to see the full picture. Together, we’ll set one or two realistic goals and outline clear next steps. You’ll leave with practical guidance and a plan that feels achievable and personalized to you.
