About Deina

Helping people build a healthy relationship with food while creating sustainable habits is the reason I went into nutrition. I have five years of experience as a Registered Dietitian and earned an MS in Nutrition, working primarily in clinical and hospital settings in Houston. I practice as an RDN and LD and bring CNSC training into my clinical thinking. Outside of work I love cooking, reading, journaling, weightlifting, and pilates, which all feed how I guide realistic, enjoyable changes.

Approach to care

I center care on science and real life, using evidence-based guidance to create clear, practical steps we can try together. I value a weight-neutral, behavior-focused lens, so our goals emphasize health and habits rather than numbers on a scale. Sessions are educational and direct, but also warm and nonjudgmental, so you feel supported and accountable. We’ll translate research into simple actions that fit your culture, schedule, and priorities for long-term change.

Your first session with Deina

Expect a relaxed, collaborative conversation where we'll review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have. We'll talk about what feels workable in your daily life, identify one or two short-term goals, and outline practical first steps you can start right away. You don’t need to have everything figured out beforehand. This visit is low pressure, judgment-free, and focused on building a sustainable plan together.
