About Delaney
I earned my Bachelorâs degree in Nutrition from Clemson University and my Masterâs in Clinical Nutrition from Rutgers University. I am a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) and Licensed Dietitian (LD) with experience in clinical hospital settings and sports nutrition. At Clemson, I spent two years with Clemson Olympic Sports Nutrition supporting Division I athletes across multiple sports, helping them optimize fueling for performance, recovery, and endurance. My training and experience shape my approach, which focuses on practical, sustainable changes rather than strict rules or short-term diets. I also have celiac disease, giving me personal insight into navigating dietary changes and the challenges that can come with them. I believe nutrition should support your health while fitting into your real life, preferences, and routines. Outside of work, I enjoy Pilates, trying new recipes, reading, going to the beach, and spending time outdoors.
Approach to care
I combine evidence-based nutrition with a supportive, nonjudgmental approach so we can turn nutrition science into realistic, everyday habits. I take a whole-person view of health, considering the mental, emotional, and physical factors that influence how we eat and care for ourselves. Together, weâll set clear and practical steps while also exploring the âwhyâ behind each recommendation. My goal is to help you build confidence and lasting skills so you can make sustainable choices that fit your culture, lifestyle, schedule, and budget.
Your first session with Delaney
Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where weâll review your medical history, current eating habits, lifestyle, and any medical concerns. Iâll ask about past strategies that worked or didnât, and together weâll establish short-term, realistic goals and create a plan that feels manageable for you. You donât need to have everything figured out beforehand. By then end of the session you will leave with simple, practical steps that fit your life so you can begin building sustainable habits at a comfortable pace.
