About Denise

Hi, I am a Registered Dietitian with 30 years of experience helping people build a healthier, more joyful relationship with food and their bodies. Throughout my career, I have worked in diverse setting-hospitals, public health, longterm care, to name a few. This broad clinical background has given me a deep understanding of how nutrition supports healing, manages chronic conditions, and enhances everyday well being, no matter where someone is on their journey. I bring empathy, cultural understanding, and a genuine passion for helping people connect with food in meaningful ways.

Approach to care

My approach is supportive, non-judgmental, evidence-based, and completely client-centered. I believe nutrition should feel manageable, empowering, and even enjoyable-never restrictive or overwhelming. Together we'll create practical, realistic strategies that fit your life, preferences, culture, and goals, so you can feel confident, supported, and hopeful about your health.

Your first session with Denise

Our initial session is a warm, relaxed conversation focused on you. I will listen to your story, health history, eating patterns, challenges and goals-with no judgement, only curiosity and compassion. We'll explore what success looks like for you and start building a gentle, personalized path forward that feels doable and exciting. You will leave feeling seen and heard, understood and optimistic-because real, sustainable change is possible. I am honored to walk this journey with you. I am here to listen and support you every step of the way.
