About Diane
Hi, I'm Diane. With 25 years as a Registered Dietitian. I have a Graduate Degree in Counseling Psychology, I blend science and empathy to support lasting change. My professional journey spans private practice and clinical hospital settings, where I focused on eating disorders, obesity, and healthy eating. I’m passionate about making evidence-based guidance feel doable and nonjudgmental. Outside the clinic, I’m a cyclist with more than 20 years on the bike, and I’ve raced in Triathlons in Florida. Now that I live in Arizona, I love hiking and climbing, and I bring that sense of curiosity and perseverance to my work with you.
Approach to care
My care philosophy centers on evidence-based practice, empathy, and practical partnership. I believe health is personal and ongoing, not a destination reached by deprivation or quick fixes. We’ll approach nutrition through a HAES lens, focusing on sustainable behaviors rather than numbers on a scale. I aim to be educational and supportive, helping you understand what works for you and why, so you can make informed choices with confidence. You deserve a respectful, nonjudgmental space where your goals, strengths, and life context guide every plan we create together.
Your first session with Diane
Our first appointment is all about you. We'll review your medical history, current concerns, and daily routines, and together we will establish short-term goals that feel achievable. I want to learn about your relationship with food, your past attempts, and what success looks like in your life. You do not need to have it all figured out before we meet; this is a collaborative, low pressure conversation. By the end, we’ll have a clear sense of direction and one or two next steps to begin.
