About Diane

Thirty years working as a registered dietitian have taught me that food and nutrition are one of the best ways for someone to take charge of their health. I hold an MS in Clinical Nutrition from NYU and practice as an RDN across clinical, hospital, doctors' office, corporate wellness, community health, and private practice settings. I bring a practical curiosity to counseling, informed by time spent gardening, foraging, bike riding, kayaking, meditating, and cooking in Brooklyn. I enjoy helping people translate everyday food into doable, nourishing habits. I am also trained in herbalism and am a Certified GAPS Practitioner which focuses on using food to heat the gut.

Approach to care

Evidence and compassion guide how I work. I ground recommendations in current research while staying warm and nonjudgmental, so we can create clear, actionable steps that fit your life. I focus on behaviors and overall health rather than weight, honoring the whole person including sleep, stress, activity, and mindset. Together we'll prioritize sustainable habits, build your knowledge, and use supplements only when truly needed so change feels realistic and lasting.

Your first session with Diane

You can expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we'll review your medical history, discuss any lab work or biometrics, and set a couple of short-term goals that feel achievable. You do not need to have everything figured out or perfect logs. We'll listen to your priorities, identify practical first steps, and leave with a clear plan so you can begin making sustainable changes with confidence.
