About Donna
Hi, I'm Donna, a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Personal Trainer, based in Louisville, Kentucky. With 35 years of experience across corporate wellness, sports nutrition, private practice, and clinical settings, I’ve learned how nutrition, movement, and behavior change fit together in real life. I'm proud to bring my RDN, LD credentials into our work. In my free time I stay active with weight lifting, hiking, running, swimming, and Peloton. I love spending time with my husband and our adult kids going to hockey games, the beach, and exploring new restaurants. I'm glad you're here, and I'm excited to get to know you.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based practice with empathy and partnership. We'll translate science into practical, doable steps and stay focused on sustainable change. I prioritize behaviors, energy, sleep, and mood over restrictive rules. I see you as a whole person, not a set of numbers, and I aim to educate and empower you to make informed choices. Your first session with Donna
Think of our first session as a conversation, not an evaluation. We'll start by reviewing your medical history and current routines, then get to know your goals, expectations, and what success looks like for you. I want you to feel safe, nonjudgmental, and heard, and I'll ask questions to understand what matters most to you. You don't need to have everything figured out ahead of time. We'll discuss past experiences with food and movement and set 1-2 realistic goals to work toward, with flexibility as life unfolds. I'm with you every step of the way.

Hobbies
I love keeping my body moving by lifting weights, hiking, backpacking, running, walking, swimming, SUP and all things Peloton! Spending time with my husband doing the above activities and spending time with our adult children going to Ice hockey games, the beach, trying new restaurants and laughing.
