About Dora

Food has always been my compass, guiding a career that blends bedside care and community outreach. I have 20 years as a Registered Dietitian, with training at University of Wisconsin, Madison and Cornell University, and I hold credentials as an RDN and CNSC. My experience spans clinical hospital work and community health. I love cooking, jogging, and traveling, and I bring that curiosity into helping patients find sustainable, realistic ways to improve their health.

Approach to care

Evidence and empathy shape how I work. I translate current research into practical strategies we can use in daily life, always prioritizing sustainable habits over quick fixes. We'll take a weight-neutral, behavior-focused path that considers mental, emotional, and physical health. I aim to be warm and nonjudgmental while giving clear, actionable steps, and I explain the science behind recommendations so you can make informed choices that last.

Your first session with Dora

Expect a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where we review your medical history, medications, and any recent lab work or biometrics while I listen to your priorities and concerns. I'll help you identify one or two short-term, realistic goals, and together we'll turn evidence-based nutrition information into simple action steps to try before our next visit. You don't need to have everything figured out, we'll move at a pace that fits your life.
