About Drew
Nutrition grabbed my curiosity during clinical rotations and led me into six years practicing as a dietitian across hospital and private practice settings. I completed my dietetic internship at Meredith College and practice as an RDN and LDN. Outside the clinic, you'll find me hiking, cooking new recipes, practicing yoga, fishing, reading, or catching up on a TV series or movie after a trip. I care about realistic changes that fit your life, not perfection, and I enjoy meeting patients where they are.
Approach to care
Science guides the work I do, and compassion shapes how we get there. I rely on evidence-based strategies while honoring Health At Every Size principles, keeping our focus on behaviors and overall wellbeing rather than a number. We'll work together with clear, practical steps that fit your routine, track what matters, and adjust as needed. I aim to educate and empower you so changes feel sustainable, respectful of your whole life, and rooted in real-world results.
Your first session with Drew
When you come in we'll spend time reviewing medical history and any lab work or biometrics you have, but you don't need to have everything figured out beforehand. We'll take a deep, judgement-free look at your relationship with food, what's working, and what's been frustrating. Together we'll set one or two short-term goals and outline practical next steps you can try. The visit is low-pressure and collaborative, and we'll move at a pace that fits your life.
