About Dustin
I'm a Registered Dietitian with a background in health promotion and disease prevention, recently transitioning into virtual care to support individuals in achieving their wellness goals from the comfort of their own homes. With years of experience working with Veterans and outpatient populations, I bring a compassionate, evidence-based approach to nutrition counseling. Outside of work, I’m a proud husband and father of two energetic boys. Our family includes a lovable Labrador retriever who joins us on our beach outings and paddleboarding adventures. I also enjoy golfing and making the most of quality time with my family.
Approach to care
My approach to care is rooted in compassion, personalization, and empowerment. With a background in health promotion, disease prevention, and outpatient counseling, I believe sustainable health comes from education, realistic goals, and trust. I specialize in weight management and am passionate about helping individuals break free from restrictive dieting by embracing Intuitive Nutrition—honoring hunger cues, building a positive relationship with food, and focusing on overall well-being. I recognize that every person’s health journey is unique, so I prioritize collaborative care and tailor practical strategies that align with each client’s lifestyle and values. Whether managing chronic conditions, improving performance, or making meaningful behavior changes, I aim to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard, respected, and equipped to take charge of their health—one step at a time.
Your first session with Dustin
Your first session is all about getting to know you—your health history, current habits, goals, and any challenges you’re facing. We’ll have a relaxed, judgment-free conversation where I’ll listen to your story and what matters most to you. Together, we’ll explore your relationship with food, daily routine, and any medical or lifestyle factors that may impact your nutrition. This session isn’t about quick fixes or rigid plans—it’s about building trust, setting realistic goals, and creating a personalized approach that fits your life. Whether you’re here for weight management, intuitive eating, or to simply feel better in your body, we’ll begin crafting a plan that’s both meaningful and achievable. You’ll leave with a clear direction, a few manageable action steps, and the reassurance that you have ongoing support as we move forward together.

Hobbies
Trying to convince my kids that vegetables are cool - Mastering the art of carrying all the grocery bags in one trip - Paddleboarding… mostly in circles - Over-analyzing fantasy football decisions that never work out - Teaching my Labrador advanced negotiation techniques for snack time - Perfecting my “dad golf swing” (also known as “fore!”) - Attempting to relax at the beach with two small kids (spoiler alert: not relaxing) - Getting oddly competitive during family board game night - Turning leftovers into “gourmet” meals with chef-level confidence - Listening to health podcasts while eating nachos (balance, right?).
