About Elaine

Welcome! As a dietitian 40 plus years of experience in the field of nutrition I look forward to working with you. Over these years I have worked in hospitals (both big and small), nursing homes, weight management programs and homecare. As a result, I enjoy seeing clients of any age given I've seen children of all ages (one of my favorite roles) as well as adults up to our aging population and a wide variety of client needs. Most recently I have worked in the area of home nutrition support helping patients with enteral feeding tubes for a wide variety of health issues that required nutrition assistance. I look forward to our discussions about nutrition to help you or your child on a path to meet goals.

Approach to care

We'll work together to find the right fit for a nutrition plan to meet your needs. I'll work hard to build a great relationship with you so we can have an open discussion about nutrition. There are many resources available to find what we're looking for to support your goals.

Your first session with Elaine

When we first meet the session will be all about YOU! We'll take the time for me to learn about your needs and goals, your lifestyle, what's been working for you and what's been a challenge. After that we'll develop a plan to help you set new goals or confirm current goals and make shared decisions on how to move forward with your care and support via myself and the Nourish program with resources and follow up appointments. We'll also make sure you are comfortable using our Nourish app so you can access all resources available to you.
