About Elaine
Hi, I’m Elaine. I’ve spent 24 years as a Registered Dietitian helping people build healthier relationships with food. I'm fluent in English and Spanish. My practice has included clinical and hospital settings, community health, and renal care, which helps me see nutrition from many angles. I’m committed to translating the latest science into practical, doable steps. I’m warm, curious, and focused on partnering with you to make lasting changes that fit your life.
Approach to care
As a practitioner, I’m guided by evidence-based practice, empathy, and a collaborative spirit. I’ll bring science to life in a way that feels clear and actionable, and we’ll tailor plans to your values, preferences, and daily routine. My approach is holistic, aiming to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being, and educational, so you leave each session with knowledge you can use.
Your first session with Elaine
Our first appointment is a conversation about you. We'll review your medical history, look at lab results and biometrics, and start identifying short-term goals. You don't need to have everything figured out before we meet; we'll explore what has worked for you and what hasn't, and together we’ll set 1 to 3 realistic goals for the coming weeks. The session is judgment-free and collaborative, designed to help you feel supported and respected as we map out a practical plan that fits your life.
