About Elesa
As a former eating disordered ballerina, I am very familiar with weight struggles and body dysmorphia. After struggling to losing weight after my second pregnancy I found the world of dietetics. I am now a registered dietitian with over a decade of hands-on experience, I’m passionate about helping individuals and families achieve their nutrition and wellness goals in realistic, sustainable ways. Whether you're working toward healthy weight loss or gain, supporting a picky eater, navigating the challenges of breastfeeding, or managing conditions like high cholesterol or high blood pressure—I offer practical, personalized strategies grounded in the latest nutrition science. I also specialize in helping cancer patients discover nourishing, appetizing foods during treatment and recovery.
Approach to care
I believe that food should be both functional and enjoyable. My approach is compassionate, client-centered, and focused on creating lasting change—not quick fixes. No matter where you’re starting from, I’m here to guide and support you every step of the way. As a registered dietitian with 10+ years of experience helping clients achieve their nutrition goals. I offer support with weight loss, picky eating, breastfeeding, heart health, cancer nutrition, and more—providing personalized, realistic guidance rooted in evidence-based care.
Your first session with Elesa
Our initial session will go over your current diet and what your end goals are. We will spend much of this time getting to know each other. I will ask about your health, medications, home life, activities, preferred foods, restrictions, what brought you to see me. At the end of this session we will work together tow come up with at least two small goals to set for the week. Follow up sessions will be focused on the progress of our previous goals, any new medical information, and setting new goals. We will work together as a team to meet your end goal. At the end of each session, I will send you the goals we have set and any additional information that you may have requested. I have an "open door" policy. Meaning if you have questions, concerns, or just want to tell me about a small victory, you do not have to wait until our next appointment,
