About Elise
I began my nutrition journey through dance, training 5-7 hours daily. I quickly learned how nutrition affects performance, but over time, this led to disordered eating and orthorexia. While dealing with IBS, I was put on a low FODMAP diet, which added more restrictions. Through trial and error, I healed my gut and improved my relationship with food. Now, I enjoy all foods and aim to share my passion for nutrition and diverse cuisines. As a dietitian, my goal is to help others find what works for them, both mentally and physically.
Approach to care
My approach to nutrition is centered around creating a non-judgmental, supportive environment where clients feel safe and empowered. I focus on helping individuals build healthy, sustainable habits that seamlessly integrate into daily life. I believe that health is unique to each person and varies with life's stages. Using evidence-based strategies, I work with clients to set personalized goals that align with their individual needs and aspirations.
Your first session with Elise
Here's a more polished version of your paragraph: In our first session, we'll explore key background information, including your mental and physical health, current eating habits, and any previous nutrition plans you've followed. My goal is to gain a clear understanding of your current health, starting with the basics, so we can address both your short-term and long-term goals. Whether your focus is on improving your relationship with food, managing weight or health concerns, enhancing gym performance, addressing specific health conditions, or gaining general nutrition knowledge, we’ll create a personalized plan to support you on your health journey.
