About Elise
Hi, I'm Elise. I'm a Registered Dietitian with a MS in Nutrition Sciences with my Dietetic Internship from the University of New Hampshire. During my internship I worked in private practice, foodservice, and clinical settings. Over the past two years, Iāve worked in partial hospitalization and intensive outpatient programs for eating disorder treatment, helping people navigate meals and healing. Iām grateful to hold the postnominals RDN and LDN as I work with patients who want science-backed guidance delivered with warmth. When Iām not seeing clients, youāll find me cooking or baking at home, crocheting, scrapbooking, or absorbed in a good book. I value curiosity, patience, and real connection. My counseling style is warm, non-judgmental, and supportive, with a touch of humor when helpful. I aim to create a space where you feel heard, respected, and safe to be honest.
Approach to care
I believe nutrition care should feel compassionate, collaborative, and empowering - not rigid or overwhelming. In our work together, you are the expert on your own body. My role is to bring nutrition knowledge, curiosity, and support to help you move toward your goals in a way that feels attainable and sustainable. Weāll work as a team to create goals that meet you where you are now, while gently pushing you closer to where you want to be - without pressure or perfection. My approach is highly client-centered and flexible. I do my best to accommodate personal preferences, lived experiences, and individual needs, because no two relationships with food look the same. Progress doesnāt have to be linear, and you donāt have to have it all figured out - Iāll meet you wherever youāre at and walk alongside you as you move forward.
Your first session with Elise
Think of our first appointment as a conversation, not an exam. We'll review your medical history, current eating patterns, and goals, and Iāll create a personalized meal plan that feels doable. Weāll take a deep dive into your relationship with food in a safe, supportive space, and you donāt need to have every detail figured out. Iāll guide you step by step, and weāll set one or two achievable next steps to begin building lasting habits together.
