About Elise
I'm an Alaska-based registered dietitian with a passion for an anti-diet approach with 10+ years working in various healthcare roles. I attended Iowa State University to complete my Master of Professional Practice in Dietetics and the University of Alaska to complete my Bachelor of Science in Dietetics. I worked for a brief period in the inpatient setting but realized I wanted the opportunity to spend time with my clients to build strong relationships. Using evidence-based methods while emphasizing a whole body and mind approach to health and well-being, I would be honored to work with you to meet your health goals.
Approach to care
My approach to care is to provide a judgement free space where I can empower clients to feel their best. I utilize motivational interviewing for a client-centered approach where you make your decisions on what's best for you. I will support you every step of the way to make sustainable and realistic goals that lead into lasting changes.
Your first session with Elise
The first session is a chance to get to know you and understand your background. We'll talk about your medical and social history, habits, lifestyle, challenges, and goals. If you don't have any goals yet, that's perfectly okay! We'll work as a partnership to create a plan individualized for what's important to you.
