About Eliza
Eliza is a registered dietitian and nutritionist based in Nashville, Tennessee, specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, chronic dieting, body image concerns, nutrition-related conditions, and women’s health. With extensive experience working with children, teens, and adults in treatment centers, inpatient settings, and private practice, she combines nutrition counseling with a non-diet approach to help individuals rebuild a positive and sustainable relationship with food.
Approach to care
Eliza firmly believes that everyone deserves to enjoy all foods and live fully, regardless of body size. With a weight-inclusive, anti-diet approach, she supports clients in building a healthier relationship with food and their bodies through curiosity rather than judgment. Recognizing the complexities of disordered eating, she provides a compassionate, welcoming space for anyone experiencing food-related stress or concerns, whether or not they have a formal diagnosis. Eliza’s approach goes beyond nutrition—it is both gender-affirming and trauma-informed, recognizing that healing is deeply personal. By centering her clients in their own care, she guides them toward sustainable changes, helping them foster a healthier, more intuitive relationship with food—one step at a time.
Your first session with Eliza
Taking the first step toward support is a significant moment, and Eliza recognizes the courage it takes to reach out. She strives to understand not just your clinical background but also your personal experiences and emotional needs, seeing you as a whole person. During the initial session, she will explore your relationship with food, medical history, sleep patterns, stress levels, hydration, and movement. Follow-up sessions will focus on checking in on your progress, addressing challenges, and collaborating on adjustments. These sessions may include nutrition education, meal planning, and developing coping strategies to support your journey
