About Eliza

Eliza is a registered dietitian and nutritionist based in Nashville, Tennessee. She specializes in eating disorders, disordered eating, body image concerns, and nutrition-related health issues. She has worked with kids, teens, and adults in treatment centers, hospitals, and private practice. Eliza uses a gentle, non-diet approach to help people heal their relationship with food and find a way of eating that feels good and lasts.

Approach to care

Eliza believes that everyone deserves to enjoy all foods and live a full life—no matter their body size. She uses a weight-inclusive, anti-diet approach to help clients build a healthier relationship with food and their bodies, with a focus on curiosity instead of judgment. She often uses intuitive eating and mindful eating tools to support clients dealing with health concerns like disordered eating, diabetes, or heart health—without strict rules or restriction. Eliza creates a warm, welcoming space for anyone who feels stress around food, whether or not they have a diagnosis. Her care is gender-affirming and trauma-informed, recognizing that healing looks different for everyone. She works alongside each client to make sustainable, meaningful changes—helping them feel more at peace with food and their bodies, one step at a time.

Your first session with Eliza

Reaching out for support is a big step, and Eliza truly understands how much courage that takes. She takes time to get to know you—not just your health history, but also your personal story and how you’re feeling—so she can support you as a whole person. In your first session, you’ll talk together about your relationship with food, any medical conditions, sleep, stress, hydration, and movement. Follow-up sessions are a chance to check in, talk through any challenges, and make small changes together. These might include learning more about nutrition, creating simple meal ideas, or finding new ways to cope when things feel tough.
