About Eliza

Eliza is a registered dietitian and nutritionist specializing in eating disorders, disordered eating, intuitive eating, and weight-inclusive medical nutrition therapy in Nashville, Tennessee. Over the years, she has worked alongside dietitians, therapists, and medical professionals in eating disorder treatment centers, hospitals, and outpatient clinics, treating children, teens, and adults.

Approach to care

Eliza truly believes everyone deserves to enjoy all foods and live fully, no matter their body size. With an anti-diet, weight-inclusive approach, she supports clients in transforming their relationship with food and their bodies through curiosity, not judgment. She also brings experiences in LGBTQIA+ and trauma-informed care.

Your first session with Eliza

The first session is a huge step, and Eliza understands the courage it takes to seek help and prioritizes to listen with compassion and without judgment. Eliza aims to understand not only your clinical information but also your personal experiences and emotional needs, getting to know you as a person. In the first session, she will explore your relationship with food, medical history, sleep patterns, stress levels, hydration, and movement. Follow-up sessions will check in on your progress, address challenges, and collaborate on adjustments, incorporating nutrition education, meal planning, and coping strategies to support your healing journey.
