About Libby
Libby (she/her) is a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Intuitive Eating Counselor based in Colorado. She has over 10 years of nutrition counseling experience and specializes in helping her clients improve their relationship with food and their bodies so they can show up for what matters most in their life. Libby is a Health at Every SizeĀ® practitioner, focusing on intuitive eating and movement, disordered eating recovery and weight inclusive medical nutrition therapy. She also enjoys working with people on value-based nutrition including veganism and eco-conscious eating.
Approach to care
Libby practices using a weight-neutral, non-diet, holistic, and somatic approach to nutrition and wellness. She incorporates intuitive eating principles and is passionate about helping folks heal their relationship with food and find lasting peace, balance, connection, health and, ultimately, freedom. Through your work together, Libby can help you build more self-awareness, reconnect with your body and its innate wisdom, and feel comfortable and confident in your body - no matter what itās size. Libby will help you begin to challenge diet culture and re-learn to tune into your body and how YOU want to nourish and take care of your body from a place of peace and body connection.
Your first session with Libby
Libby enjoys getting to know clients during the first session so she can help learn what will work best for them. She values evidenced based approaches and will ask questions to help get to know more about you and your values. Your first session with Libby is where you'll dig deeper into your unique story with food & body image. This will include reviewing your health, eating, movement & body image history; discussing your current situation & your goals. Libby also works from a nervous system-centered approach and often incorporates grounded activities during session to help you regulate your nervous system so you can feel calm, connected and engaged.
