About Elizabeth
Hi, I’m Elizabeth! I’m a Registered Dietitian who helps people build a healthier relationship with food, improve their gut health, and feel more confident in their eating habits. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware and my Master of Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. My background includes clinical nutrition and community health, which means I’ve worked with patients in hospitals, outpatient programs, and public health settings. My areas of interest include disordered eating and intuitive eating, women’s health and hormonal balance, pregnancy and postpartum nutrition, diabetes management, cardiovascular disease, PCOS, celiac disease, and general healthy eating. I also support clients with stress management, mindful eating, weight management, and weight-inclusive nutrition approaches.
Approach to care
My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where your goals—not diet rules—come first. I take an evidence-based, compassionate approach rooted in intuitive eating, mindful practices, and realistic habit change. I believe nutrition should feel empowering, not restrictive, and I’ll meet you where you are in your health journey. Whether you’re navigating digestive concerns, managing a medical condition, or simply hoping to feel more energized and balanced, we’ll work together to build strategies that fit seamlessly into your life.
Your first session with Elizabeth
Your first session is all about you. I’ll take time to learn about your health history, current habits, goals, and any challenges you’re facing with food and nutrition. Together, we’ll outline a starting plan with small, realistic steps that you can begin right away. The first session is just the beginning of our work—I’ll provide enough guidance to get you moving forward, but we’ll build on this foundation in future sessions. Weekly follow-ups give us the chance to check in, adjust your plan, and keep you supported and accountable as you make lasting progress.
Education
I hold a Master of Public Health (MPH) with a concentration in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of Delaware.
Hobbies
In my free time, I enjoy cooking new recipes, spending time with friends and family, and being outdoors—especially at the beach.
