About Elizabeth
Elizabeth is a licensed and registered dietitian. Her 10 years of experience in nutrition have fostered exposure to a variety of conditions. She has worked with prenatal clients, pediatrics through age 5, lactation consulting, and provided evidence-based medical nutrition therapy for a variety of conditions such as: diabetes, chronic kidney disease, bariatric weight management, congestive heart failure, cirrhosis, etc. She has spent 5.5 years working specifically with patients in end-stage kidney failure that are on various modes of dialysis and began her journey as a provider with Nourish in early 2024.
Approach to care
Elizabeth teaches and encourages from a belief that nutrition is more than just a science- but that food provides both pleasure and nourishment and those two components cannot be separated from one another in the context of eating well. She highly values getting to help people find practical, solutions to help build healthier habits within the framework of their own individual schedules and lives. Elizabeth understands that everyone has a unique history, and she has a passion for ensuring her patients feel empowered and at peace with their bodies.
Your first session with Elizabeth
During an initial session, Elizabeth's main goal is getting to know you & hearing your story! We will complete a nutrition assessment that includes a lot of questions about your medical history, lifestyle, and nutrition patterns. Once the assessment is complete, we will create a few realistic achievable goals to work on.
