About Elizabeth

Hi, I’m Elizabeth Johnson, RDN, LD. I’m a registered dietitian nutritionist with five years of experience helping individuals and families build healthier relationships with food. I specialize in using nutrition to manage chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and more. I also support clients who are looking for sustainable, realistic weight management. I work with clients of all ages, and I truly believe that all foods can fit into a healthy, balanced lifestyle—there are no “bad” foods. My goal is to meet you exactly where you are. If you don’t like an idea or something doesn’t feel doable, just tell me. I’ll always work with you to find a plan that fits your life, your preferences, and your goals. I’m here to offer warm, supportive, and judgment-free guidance so you can feel confident and empowered on your journey toward better health.

Approach to care

My approach to nutrition is rooted in compassion, flexibility, and meeting you exactly where you are. I don’t believe in rigid rules or labeling foods as “good” or “bad.” Instead, I focus on helping you build a healthier, more confident relationship with food—one that feels realistic and sustainable for your lifestyle. I take time to understand your unique goals, preferences, challenges, and daily routines. Together, we look at what’s working well and where you may need support. If something doesn’t resonate with you, that’s perfectly okay—we’ll talk about it and adjust the plan so it truly fits your life. I value open communication, honesty, and collaboration. My role is not to judge or dictate, but to guide, encourage, and empower you. Whether you’re managing a chronic condition, working toward weight goals, or simply trying to feel better in your day-to-day life, we’ll create a plan that makes sense for you—not someone else.

Your first session with Elizabeth

Our first session is all about getting to know you. I want to understand your goals, your concerns, and what daily life looks like so we can create a plan that truly fits your needs. Here’s how it typically goes: 1. A Comfortable, Judgment-Free Conversation We’ll start by talking about your health history, your relationship with food, and any challenges you’ve been experiencing. There’s no pressure and no right or wrong answers — just a warm, open conversation. 2. Understanding Your Habits and Preferences We’ll explore the foods you enjoy, what a typical day of eating looks like, and what you feel is working well (or not so well). If you don’t like something or a strategy doesn’t feel realistic, that’s perfectly okay — I want to know so we can adjust together. 3. Personalized Recommendations
