About Elizabeth
I am a Registered Dietitian with 8 years of experience helping individuals improve their health through nutrition. I've worked in outpatient counseling for 2 years, specializing in general health, bariatric surgery preparation, weight management (both weight loss and weight gain), and geriatrics. My approach to nutrition care is rooted in personalization—I believe that every recommendation should fit seamlessly into your lifestyle. My goal is to help you develop a positive, sustainable relationship with food by making mindful, realistic changes that support your unique needs and long-term well-being. Whether you are preparing for surgery, navigating age-related health concerns, or simply seeking to improve your overall nutrition, I am committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based guidance tailored to you. Looking forward to meeting you!
Approach to care
I believe nutrition is not about strict rules or restrictions—it’s about finding balance and building a healthy relationship with food. My role is not to be the “food police,” but to guide and support you in making choices that fit your unique lifestyle, health goals, and personal preferences. Together, we’ll focus on realistic, sustainable changes that allow you to enjoy food while supporting your overall well-being. My goal is to equip you with the knowledge, tools, and confidence to make decisions that feel both nourishing and achievable, so you feel empowered—not pressured—throughout your journey.
Your first session with Elizabeth
During your first visit, we’ll take the time to get to know each other and build a foundation for your nutrition journey. I’ll start by learning more about your current knowledge of healthy eating, including the MyPlate guidelines. We’ll also complete a food recall, where you’ll share what a typical day of eating looks like for you. From there, we’ll work together to set realistic, personalized goals that fit your lifestyle and support your health needs. My goal is to make sure you leave the appointment with clear, achievable steps and the confidence to start making meaningful changes right away.
