About Elizabeth
Hello and welcome! My name is Elizabeth Shidler, and I have been a dietitian for 5 years with over 7 years of nutrition experience along with 14 years of personal weight loss and health journey. I have had the opportunity to work in many settings such as Long-term care, dialysis, and telehealth. I began going to WW at the age of 12 and this contributed to the desire to become a dietitian. I have received my Master's in Integrative and Functional Medicine which has given me the opportunity to expand my knowledge in the holistic world and understand what it means to truly heal people and even myself.
Approach to care
Are you sick of years of yo-yo dieting and not being able to keep the weight off? Are you wondering why I can’t just be normal and not have weight issues and must watch what I eat? These questions all apply to me as well!! Working with me you will get someone who not only can empathize with you but has been in the same boat as you. I know what it is like. I will guide you on making healthier choices, supplement use and important functional medicine labs to get to the root of your issues.
Your first session with Elizabeth
During your first session, I’ll spend time gathering detailed information about you — including your medical history, diagnoses, eating patterns, and daily habits. I’ll also take the time to learn about your lifestyle, preferences, and personal goals. This allows me to create a plan that’s truly tailored to you, because every person is unique — and what works for one person may not work for another. My goal is to understand the full picture so we can build a strategy that feels realistic, sustainable, and effective for your needs.
