About Elizabeth
Passionate about harnessing the power of real food and nutrition to prevent, treat and reverse chronic disease to support a joyful life. I have almost a decade of experience working as a dietitian specializing in care for children, teens and young adults with metabolic syndrome and related health conditions including fatty liver, PCOS, pre-diabetes and high cholesterol.
Approach to care
I take a family-based approach to support sustainable health behavior changes for the entire family unit, when applicable. For young adults, I provide clear and evidence-based nutrition guidance to support confidence with food choices. I strive to provide each patient and family with empathetic, practical and effective nutrition counseling tailored to meet your needs. I hope to reduce the stress of figuring out what to eat to promote your/your family's health and wellbeing.
Your first session with Elizabeth
Our first session will include a detailed intake of you/your child's medical history, current/past efforts towards improving nutrition, family feeding and eating dynamics, and identifying your goals of nutrition care. I'll focus on helping you identify 1 or 2 short term goals to start with and building upon those goals to support your long term success, providing education along the way.
