About Ellen
With 9 years of experience as a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and public health expert, I’m passionate about helping individuals build a healthy, sustainable relationship with food. I specialize in translating complex nutrition science into practical, personalized guidance that fits your unique lifestyle, preferences, and health goals. My background includes extensive work in child nutrition, community health, and foodservice systems—giving me a comprehensive understanding of how food impacts our lives on both an individual and societal level. Whether you’re navigating a health condition, looking to improve your eating habits, or seeking support for your family’s nutrition, I provide compassionate, evidence-based counseling grounded in real-life strategies.
Approach to care
I take a supportive, individualized approach to nutrition counseling, meeting you where you are and working collaboratively to create realistic, sustainable changes. I believe in listening first, building trust, and focusing on progress over perfection. Whether we’re discussing your health goals or your favorite meals, I love having open, judgment-free conversations about all things food. My goal is to help you feel empowered and informed, not overwhelmed. Your goals and values are at the center of everything we do, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
Your first session with Ellen
Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other. After breaking the ice, we’ll start with a conversation about your health goals, lifestyle, and any concerns or questions you have. Together, we’ll begin to identify realistic, meaningful changes that align with your goals. You’ll also receive personalized nutrition education to help you better understand how food can support your health. By the end of the session, you’ll leave with clear next steps and a plan to move forward.
