About Ellen

With 34 years of experience as a dietitian and 30 years as a group fitness instructor and clinical exercise physiologist, I bring a well-rounded perspective to the world of wellness. My background spans clinical care, long-term care, substance abuse recovery, outpatient services, and fitness settings—giving me the tools to support a wide range of individuals with diverse health and nutrition goals. I’m passionate about helping clients feel their best—whether that means improving gut health, managing weight, addressing a specific health condition, or simply enhancing overall well-being. Let’s work together to create a personalized plan that supports your goals and sets you up for long-term wellness success. Your journey starts here!

Approach to care

I believe that each client is the leader of their own wellness journey. Education and empowerment are at the heart of my approach, and I love guiding people toward sustainable, positive lifestyle changes. By sharing their beliefs, preferences, passions, and abilities, clients provide the foundation for a truly personalized approach to care. My role is to listen, guide, and support—not to dictate. I focus on providing clear, simple recommendations and step-by-step goals that make change feel manageable rather than overwhelming. This reduces stress and increases the likelihood of long-term success. Together, we build a path forward—at your pace, on your terms, with expert support every step of the way.

Your first session with Ellen

Your first session will be used to get to know you better. Discussing your goals, current knowledge, and what has and hasn't worked for you in the past is key to getting you on the right path. Open conversations without judgement are important to getting us connected. Review of any medical information and your current nutritional intake will also be discussed. With your input and guidance we can begin to create a nutrition plan and get you on your way to reaching your goals and overall wellness.
