About Emily
I'm Emily! As a Registered Dietitian with 13 years of experience and a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida, I've worked in both clinical hospital and community health settings helping people with all forms of diabetes cut through the noise. As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist I pair science with practical, real-life strategies. Outside work you'll find me at a theme park, traveling, dancing salsa, singing karaoke, or camping.
Approach to care
I combine evidence-based guidelines with warm, practical education so we can build lasting habits, together. We'll focus on behavior changes that fit your life rather than quick fixes or rigid rules. My work is weight-neutral and whole-person focused, looking at sleep, stress, movement, and relationships with food. I aim to give clear, actionable steps and teach the why behind them, so we can test, adjust, and grow sustainable confidence without judgment.
Your first session with Emily
When we meet, I create a relaxed, focused conversation where we review your medical history and any lab work or biometrics you bring. This is a judgment-free space where we'll discuss what is working now, what feels challenging, and what your short-term priorities are. Together we'll set realistic, measurable goals and leave with practical tools to begin.
