About Emily
I've been a dietitian for 4 years and started my career working with patients in the hospital setting, including those undergoing cancer treatment and individuals in long-term acute care who required highly specialized nutrition support. Today, I primarily work with people managing chronic conditions, helping them build sustainable and personalized nutrition habits that support their health and lifestyle. I obtained my degree in nutrition from Louisiana Tech University, and my background as a military kid means I've lived in over 20 different places before settling in the heart of Dallas.
Approach to care
My approach to care is collaborative, compassionate, and evidence-based. I believe nutrition looks different for everyone, and my goal is to create realistic and personalized strategies that fit into your lifestyle. Together, we'll focus on building sustainable habits, fostering a positive relationship with food, and supporting your overall health and wellbeing without unnecessary restriction or guilt
Your first session with Emily
In our first session, we'l spend time getting to know each other. I'll learn more about your health history, current routines, goals, and any challenges you've been facing. This session is ore about understanding your unique needs than about making major changes right away. By the end, you'll walk away with an initial plan and a sense of what our work together will look like, as well as plenty of space for your questions and input.
