About Emily
I have been a nursing home RD for almost 4 years working with people over 65 with a variety of health issues including diabetes, heart disease, and renal disease. I have a special interest in diabetes education and am working towards becoming a Certified Diabetes Educator. I have a background in culinary arts, so coming up with recipes, adjusting recipes, and developing ideas for quick and easy meals and snacks to meet your needs is one of my specialties. Iāve had my own experience struggling with obesity and I love helping my clients change their perspective about weight and prioritize their health over their size.
Approach to care
I have a liberal approach and I believe in āhealth at every sizeā and āfood freedomā. I want my clients to prioritize physical and mental health over size/weight.
