About Emily

Emily Conyers is a registered dietitian nutritionist (RDN) currently living in Jacksonville, Florida. She is originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin, but spent most of her life in Oviedo, Florida. Emily provides nutrition education and counseling for many different reasons, but specializes in chronic kidney disease, weight management (weight loss or weight gain), and nutrition for weightlifters (novice level to advanced). Emily’s goal is to help her clients change their lives for the better. Optimal health is priceless. To witness someone go from hopeless to thriving truly makes Emily feel fulfilled. Helping a person avoid dialysis is an indescribable feeling. Emily wholeheartedly believes in evidence-based practice. She continues to stay up to date on the latest nutritional science by attending nutrition conferences and seminars and reading peer reviewed literature. Emily is also an adjunct professor at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ).

Approach to care

Emily’s philosophy is “every food fits” and personalizes each nutrition plan to the individual. Emily helps individuals optimize their nutrition without feeling restricted, enabling them to improve their strength and gain confidence in their eating habits. Emily highlights the importance of addressing all aspects of health: fitness, stress management, mental well-being, and sleep to achieve optimal results.

Your first session with Emily

In our first session, we’ll take the time to get to know each other in a nonjudgmental space where you’re heard, supported, and never rushed. I’ll ask about your eating habits, medical history, lifestyle, and any symptoms or concerns. We’ll review labs or diagnoses, connect the dots holistically, and talk through your goals—not just numbers, but how you want to feel in your body and daily life. By the end, we’ll have a clear plan tailored to you, including realistic first steps and any labs, supplements, or referrals that may be helpful. This is the start of a collaborative process. I want to know what lights you up, what’s been holding you back, and what “feeling good” really means to you. You’ll leave feeling seen, supported, and way less overwhelmed. I’m here to help you regain your sparkle!
