About Emily
Hi, my name is Emily and I'm greatly looking forward to working with you! I first fell in love with nutrition during my undergraduate degree after exploring many different paths in healthcare. I kept coming back to dietetics, as nutrition is fundamental for human health. A few degrees and several years later, I now have experience working with a wide variety of patients, both in the public health and inpatient sector. Working with clients and patients is extremely meaningful to me, as I have the great privilege of equipping people with knowledge to help enhance their health and, therefore, overall quality of life.
Approach to care
I approach nutrition from a whole-health perspective. There a many domains of wellness and looking at the person and not just the individual question at hand can optimize outcomes. I take a client-centered approach, meaning, my job is to help you in your goals with the resources and skills that you have or are interested in learning.
Your first session with Emily
During your first session with me, we'll break down your main nutrition goal into smaller, manageable steps. I want to learn as much as I can about your nutrition questions, your day-to-day relationship with food, and what you envision our time together to look like. I am looking forward to working with each of you on your nutrition journey.
