About Emily

Hi there, and welcome; I am excited to connect with you! My 18 year career as a Registered Dietitian initially stemmed from my love of sports and being a lifelong soccer player (through college) turned marathon runner. However, my RD journey has been ever evolving and I have been fortunate to expand my clinical and community health knowledge and experience as an RD to include working with patients that have needs with prediabetes, diabetes, CKD (including dialysis), heart healthy eating, GI conditions, thyroid health, and weight loss.

Approach to care

My approach to care includes a warm, positive, patient-centered, whole-person approach that works WITH you to help create actionable and realistic goals, leading to sustainable health outcomes. I see myself as a partner in your health journey.

Your first session with Emily

In your first session, I will spend time really getting to know you and understand who you are as person, what your lifestyle is like, what your goals are, and we will really dive in and collect pertinent past medical and nutrition history. I like to understand the whole picture of you and your health. From there, we will create a plan to achieve your goals!
