About Emily
Hi, I'm Emily. I hold an MS in Nutrition Science and am a Registered Dietitian. Over the past two years I have worked in clinical settings including the hospital, home care and in patient/outpatient centers helping people navigate nutrition based on their health needs. When I'm not meeting with patients, you’ll find me in the kitchen cooking, reading, or spending time with my two labradors. I bring curiosity, practicality, and a hopeful, collaborative mindset to every session.
Approach to care
My care philosophy blends evidence-based science with a warm, collaborative approach. I stay current with research and translate it into practical steps you can actually use. I see you as a whole person, balancing physical health with mental well being, sleep, stress, and daily routines. We’ll focus on lasting change through sustainable habits rather than quick fixes, embracing a weight-neutral HAES-informed mindset. You deserve clear guidance, compassionate support, and education that helps you decide what fits your life.
Your first session with Emily
Our first appointment is a judgment-free conversation about you. Think of it as a getting-to-know-you session where we’ll review your medical history, lab work and biometrics, and together establish short-term goals. You don’t need to have it all figured out before we meet. We’ll explore what foods make you feel your best, what barriers you face, and what success looks like for you. By the end, you’ll have 1 or 2 practical goals to start working toward before our next visit.
