About Emily
Hi, I’m Emily, a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who believes that food should be both enjoyable and help you feel your best. I’ve been a foodie for as long as I can remember, and my passion for nutrition grew naturally from that love of food. I take an evidence-based approach to nutrition — you won’t find me recommending plans just because they’re trendy. As a working mom, I understand that eating well can be a daily challenge. My goal is to help you understand your health, set realistic goals, and build sustainable habits that fit your life. You are so much more than what you eat, and I look forward to getting to know you and supporting your physical and emotional well-being along the way.
Approach to care
I take a compassionate, down-to-earth approach to nutrition. There’s no judgment, no perfection — just practical support, encouragement, and tools to help you reach your goals. I love helping people reverse insulin resistance, which can contribute to many common health concerns like type 2 diabetes and heart disease. I’m also passionate about supporting women through fertility, pregnancy, and the postpartum journey. After personally experiencing severe postpartum depression, I was inspired to focus my master’s thesis on the role of nutrition in supporting postpartum mental health. That experience deepened my commitment to helping women feel nourished, supported, and understood through every stage of motherhood.
Your first session with Emily
In our first session, I want to begin by giving you the floor. If you come with questions or topics on your mind, we’ll take the time to talk through them together. This initial session is often focused on getting to know you — your health goals, what you’ve already tried, and what your life looks like beyond food: your family, work schedule, preferences, and culture. The more I understand your unique lifestyle, the better I can help guide you toward lasting change. Depending on how our time unfolds, we may also start exploring nutrition education during that first meeting. At the end of each session, we’ll schedule your next one to keep your momentum going and ensure you always feel supported. My goal is for you to know that you’re never alone on this journey.
