About Emily
I love being a dietitian and have done so in Texas for four years now! I am originally from Atlanta and moved here to further my career. My primary work experience is in a kidney transplant clinic educating patients on how to improve their diet for general health and in preparation for surgery. I have extensive experience with kidney disease and diabetes education.
Approach to care
I strive towards being a provider that really listens. Nutrition involves more than just food, and I acknowledge that there are a whole host of reasons why you may not have achieved your goals (yet!). Making small, sustainable changes is my approach to care, but the way to achieve that depends on the person. We will figure out what works for you.
Your first session with Emily
The first session will include us getting to know each other as well as me getting to know what you expect out of our sessions. I want to get a sense of your dietary habits, food preferences, and general level of knowledge about nutrition so I can tailor our following sessions for you.
