About Emily
Hello! I'm Emily- a mom, wife of an Alaskan fisherman, and momma to 3 littles. I live in an island community in Alaska and enjoy spending time outdoors beachcombing, fishing, and gardening. I'm a diabetes specialist but also have experience in many different conditions. I try to help my clients navigate through noisy nutrition information and create a plan that is personalized, realistic, and fosters a healthy relationship to food. Health can look different for everyone so I try to meet you where you are at and prioritize what's important to you. I'd love to work with you!
Approach to care
My approach is teamwork. It's important that you have input in our plans and we work together to get you to your goals. There is no one-size-fits-all in nutrition so taking time to make things individualized is key to making sure we get you where you need to go!
Your first session with Emily
In our first session, we get to know each other. It's your time to ask questions and discuss your overall goals and concerns. We use the time to get to know each other, make a game plan, then choose some starting steps to get going so you'll leave ready to get going.
