  • ā€œIm so grateful to be working with Emily! She is a safe space to talk to in regards to health and nutrition. As someone with a new dx of PCOS and hashimotos, having Emily on my team of healthcare professionals has been invaluable. I never feel judged (which is huge for me as I tend to judge myself a lot), and my health plan is tailored to me and my goals. I never feel like im given unsolicited advice, everything is just a conversation, and Emily does a great job facilitating that conversation :) ā€œ

  • ā€œEmily helped me achieve my nutrition goals after only a few sessions! She is very knowledgable and helpful with learning more about balancing meals, coming up with attainable goals, and reaching larger goals. She is such a great nutritionist and I would recommend her to everyone! She is friendly, remembers details about you, and offers great advice with recipe suggestions and solutions to barriers. 10/10 recommend!!!ā€œ

  • ā€œEmily is very knowledgeable and approaches care with empathy and compassion. Being diagnosed as prediabetic at 26 felt scary and isolating but having such a kind, approachable dietician who genuinely cares has been so helpful. I love how she frames nutrition in a realistic way and I’m so grateful for all her guidance!ā€œ

About Emily

Hi, I’m Emily! I’m a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) in the beautiful Reno–Tahoe area, and I’m passionate about helping people use nutrition to feel their best. Whether you want to manage a health condition, improve your relationship with food, or boost your energy, I’m here to support you. With nearly 10 years of experience in acute care and outpatient settings, I have a special interest in diabetes, thyroid disorders, and women’s health, and I also enjoy working with clients focused on heart health, oncology, and overall well-being. As a proud single mom, I understand the importance of balance—nutrition should fit your real life, not the other way around. My goal is to make healthy eating enjoyable, sustainable, and stress-free. I’d love to partner with you as you work toward your goals!

Approach to care

I take a collaborative, client-centered approach to nutrition. Together, we’ll identify meaningful areas for change and find strategies that truly work for you. You’re in control—I’m here to offer evidence-based guidance, encouragement, and practical tools so you can make informed choices that feel right for your lifestyle.

Your first session with Emily

In your first session with me, we’ll take time to talk through your goals, daily habits, and health history so I can get a clear picture of what matters most to you. From there, we’ll work together to create a realistic, personalized plan that supports your progress—one step at a time.
