About Emily
Hi! My name is Emily, and I am a registered dietitian from North Dakota. After 5 years in the hospital setting, I transitioned into the telehealth space in order to reach more people and work with a wider variety of clients. My passions include performance optimization in athletes and active individuals, medical nutrition therapy for conditions including diabetes, gestational diabetes, heart disease, kidney disease, and weight management, and general wellness nutrition.
Approach to care
My goal is to meet clients where they're at in order to make nutrition simple, sustainable, and enjoyable! I focus on clients' relationship with food by adopting a non-diet approach, and focusing on quality and mindfulness. I hope to leave clients feeling empowered to make informed decisions about their health, and to eliminate food guilt or restrictive eating patterns.
Your first session with Emily
I like to use our first session to get to know you better, understand your health goals, and figure out how I can best support you. I will obtain a comprehensive nutrition assessment that will include health and nutrition history. We will end every session by setting specific, measurable, and achievable goals to keep you moving forward in you health journey.
